MVP failure usually comes from hidden scope: “just like Notion + Uber + Slack.” We force a written list of in-scope and out-of-scope items before build starts.
MVP packaging
- One primary user journey end-to-end
- Auth only if required for the test
- Admin minimum viable controls
- Analytics events that prove the hypothesis
- Deployment you can pause or extend
Process
- WorkshopHypothesis, constraints, risks, compliance flags.
- SpecUser stories + acceptance tests in English.
- BuildDemo builds on staging; change requests logged.
- DecideKeep, kill, or expand with a new scoped proposal.
Email info@vestadesign.com.vn with your one-sentence hypothesis and deadline.
FAQ
How fast is an MVP?
Depends on scope. We avoid promising “2 weeks to unicorn.” After discovery we propose a realistic demo calendar.
Web or native first?
Many B2B MVPs start as WebApp/PWA. Native is discussed when store distribution is essential.
What do you need from us?
A prioritized problem statement, success metric, and a decision-maker who answers within agreed SLAs.

Choosing the thinnest lovable product
We facilitate a ruthless cut: which step of the value chain must be real software on day one, and which can be manual ops behind the scenes? Concierge MVPs are valid when they protect learning speed. Automating everything up front often burns budget before signal appears.
Instrumentation is part of the MVP, not an afterthought. Define the one or two events that prove the hypothesis. Vanity dashboards wait until retention exists.
Technical defaults
Prefer boring, well-supported stacks your future team can hire for. We document environment setup, migrations, and secrets handling. If you expect to raise capital, readable architecture beats clever abstractions.
Security minimums: HTTPS everywhere, hashed credentials via reputable auth providers when applicable, least privilege cloud keys, and a basic incident contact path. We will not pretend a weekend MVP is SOC2-ready.
After the demo
Successful MVPs create a backlog of painful truths. We help translate learning into a new scoped proposal—or a deliberate stop. Continuing on endless T&M without goals recreates the problem MVP was meant to avoid. See also outsourcing engagement models.
Commercial framing
MVPs are priced as projects with milestones, not as unlimited brainstorming. Discovery may be a paid workshop if the problem space is ambiguous. You leave with artifacts you own: problem brief, prioritized stories, and a build quote you can accept or decline.
Founders sometimes ask for equity-only work; we are a delivery studio with cash engagement models. If that mismatches your stage, we will say so quickly to save both sides time.
Team shape on our side
Expect a compact pod: product-minded lead, implementers, and QA pass before demos. You will not get a twenty-person slide org chart. Communication stays direct. If a specialist (e.g., complex payments) is required, we identify the gap in discovery rather than learning on your production database.
Timezone etiquette: we publish available meeting windows in ICT and convert for your locale. Written updates land even when calls slip.
Artifacts you keep
Regardless of whether you continue with us after the MVP, you retain agreed code, design files we produced, and documentation. Continuity matters more than lock-in. We would rather be re-hired for clarity than trapped by obscurity.
